This notice explains how Eggcorn Digital ("Eggcorn", "we") uses the details you give us when you join the Eggcorn UGC creator network. We follow the data protection law of the country you live in.
What we collect
- Your name, creator name, email address, WhatsApp number, country and city.
- Your gender, age range and languages, so we can match you to briefs that ask for them.
- Your social media handles, follower ranges and links to your work.
- What you make, your experience, your kit, your rates and how you work.
- Notes our team adds about work you do through Eggcorn, such as whether it was on time.
- Basic technical data such as your IP address and how you found us, used to stop spam and fake signups.
Why we use it
- To match you with brand briefs and contact you about them, because you asked us to (your consent).
- To check that signups are genuine and keep the network useful for creators and brands (our legitimate interests).
- To remind you, about every six months, to check your rates are up to date.
We never charge you to join or to be booked, and we don't sell your data.
Who sees it
- Eggcorn staff who manage creators and brand campaigns. The database is private and not published anywhere.
- Brands we put you forward to see your first name, city, categories and work samples. We only share your contact details or rates with a brand when you're booked for their campaign.
- Our hosting and email providers, who process data for us under contract. Some of them store data outside your country, with safeguards in place.
How long we keep it
As long as you're part of the network. If you delete your profile, we delete your details straight away. If we remove someone from the network, we keep their email, number and handles only to stop them signing up again.
Your rights
You can see, correct, pause or delete your profile at any time using the private link in your welcome email. You can also email hi@eggcorndigital.com to ask for a copy of your data, to correct or delete it, or to withdraw your consent. You can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.
